The Gateway, a dynamic collaboration hub, is expected to open at UC Berkeley in spring 2026. The Gateway will become the home of the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society, the first new college at Berkeley in 50 years.
The Gateway will convene and connect faculty, researchers, and students from the college’s departments, labs, and research institutes with colleagues across campus and beyond. The Gateway will inspire new ideas and innovative solutions, harnessing artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science to address global challenges.
